About me
Hi, I am Joanna from Thirsk! Mum of two, who likes to dance around the kitchen, singing my head off to Sia or Latino songs, which I totally don’t understand haha. Love to spend time with my family and friends but also like the silence with an inspiring book and cup of coffee.
Like most ladies, I was not a fan of getting in front of the camera but I know how empowering pushing yourself to do it, is. Working on my own fears helped me to learn how to help other women feel relaxed, confident and totally in love with the photos I am taking of them.

I’ve had a few photo shots with Joanna now and I’m sure I will have some more in the future. Joanna is truly an amazing photographer, not only because of her photography skills but mainly because she listens to her clients and what they want or need. She has made me feel very comfortable, played music that I like. Se did my hair and makeup to fit in with the style of pictures that I was looking for. She has suggested some poses and explained what looks best in pictures. I came out like a different, more confident woman after the photoshoot! And when I finally saw the finished effects of her work… I’ve literally had tears in my eyes because I didn’t expect to see myself looking so strong and powerful.

Joanna is a woman of many talents. I was very nervous but excited as it was my first professional photo shoot with my beloved piano. She took care of everything! Clothes, make-up, light, atmosphere, everything! I've opened to her, her camera and magic start to happen.
